Since opening the NCS program registration on February 1st, we received a record breaking number of registrations.  To our surprise some of our programs have already filled and move to a waitlist only status.  This response to our programs has been very exciting, but we want to ensure those who have not yet registered that there are still many great programs available for all age groups. 

Moving forward, NCS will be issuing a biweekly highlight on a program that still has availability.  If you are concerned that the program doesn't suite your sailor or that the original program your sailor wanted has sold out, call NCS directly 508-228-6600 and we will help to discover what other fun program options are still available.

Introducing the "Youth Introduction to Keelboat Sailing" Program

Ages:                8-12 years old

Location:          Jetties Sailing Center

Time/Days:       9:30am - 12:00pm / Monday - Friday

Brief Description:      The Youth Introduction to Keelboat Sailing class offers students interested in experiencing sailing on a larger boat the opportunity to cruise with a group of other students on our J/105, a 34.5' keelboat.  Students will participate in steering and trimming sails, learning the rules of the Nantucket Harbors, and be introduced to the most basic concepts of sailing on a larger boat.
