College Sailing Panel
Nantucket Yacht Club Sail Room
Wednesday, July 27th, 6-7pm

All high school sailors interested in sailing in college and learning more about the recruitment process, contacting coaches, and strengthening their sailing resume are invited to attend the first-ever college sailing panel. The discussion will be led by Justin Assad, Co-Head Coach of the Dartmouth College sailing team, with assistance from Suzi Duncan, Head Coach of the Portsmouth Abbey sailing team and former assistant coach of the Connecticut College sailing team, and Carolyn Grant, Head Coach of the Nantucket High School sailing team and former head coach of the Hamden College sailing team.  Head 420 Coaches Pete Hazelett (NCS; UVM 10), Emily Lambert (NYC; Harvard 12), Parker Dwyer (GHYC; BC 09), and Martha Pitt (Chicago YC; BC 09) will also be on-hand to answer questions and share their experiences.  Attendees should come prepared with a notebook and questions. Parents are welcome to attend, as well.
