NHS Hosts Cape & Islands Women’s InvitationalMay 9, 2011
The Nantucket High School Whalers hosted the Cape & Islands Women's Invitational on Friday May 6, 2011.
Twelve teams attended the one-division fleet race. Teams were not limited to the amount of substitutes they could have and most teams brought 5-6 girls. Conditions where ideal for this event, with sunny skies and SW Wind at 12-15 knots. The Race Committee ran a total of 9 races wrapping up just after 6:00pm. The regatta was followed by a BBQ at Great Harbor Yacht Club sponsored by the Nantucket HS Boosters Club.
