Opera House Cup News

Nantucket Community Sailing and the Opera House Cup Committee have made the difficult decision to cancel the Nantucket Regatta, August 20-21, and the Opera House Cup Regatta, August 22, due to the impending weather and a concern for everyone's safety. Nantucket Harbor is being cleared of boats in anticipation of the storm, many of the competitors are leaving, and we will not have sufficient support boats in the water to run the regattas. The social events on Saturday and Sunday evenings have also been canceled.

We appreciate your efforts to participate in Nantucket Race Week and the Opera House Cup, and thank you for your support for Nantucket Community Sailing.
