Sails made from Mylar, Kevlar, Spectra, or other space-age materials are allowed. Boats having such sails in their "OHC sail inventory," must reflect their existence on the OHC measurement form and those boats will be subject to an additional 5% penalty added to their handicap. If a boat is found using such sails without reflecting them on the OHC measurement form, this may be grounds for disqualification from the race.
